KetoCollege Advance 2026

KetoCollege Advance is a 3-day in-person meeting aimed at existing UK and worldwide Ketogenic teams, including neurologists, epileptologists, registered dietitians, pharmacists, psychologists, specialist nurses and allied health professionals.

Led by Professor Helen Cross OBE, Prince of Wales’s Chair of Childhood Epilepsy and Director of UCL-Great Ormond Street Institute of Child Health, together with a team of highly experienced international experts; our KetoCollege Mentors will present this practical, interactive course, which includes in-depth topics on the AdvancePLUS Day 3. 2026 sees the exciting addition of further new topics, responding to feedback from 2025 delegates.

Introducing KetoCollege Foundations Session 2026

A Monday afternoon session, held prior to the Advance agenda.

This session is open to Registered Dietitians and Dietetic Assistants only.  Attendees may continue on to the Advance Days 1 and 2 only or all 3 days.

Overall Foundations Session Aim:

To equip newly practicing dietitians with the foundational theoretical knowledge and practical skills required to initiate, calculate, and manage ketogenic diet therapy (KD) for patients with drug-resistant epilepsy (DRE) and GLUT1 deficiency, safely and effectively.

  1. Accurately Calculate and Prescribe Ketogenic Diets: To be able to differentiate between and calculate the macronutrient content and ratios for both classical, modified ketogenic diets and Medium-Chain Triglycerides (MCTs) into a diet prescription.
  2. Manage and Monitor KD in Clinical Practice: To be able to anticipate, manage, and troubleshoot the common acute challenges and side effects encountered during the initial four weeks of ketogenic diet initiation for children and adults.
  3. Prepare and Support Patients and Families for Successful Adherence: To be able to effectively prepare and educate patients and their families and providing essential practical resources and support necessary to ensure safe and success implementation and long-term adherence to the prescribed ketogenic diet.

Networking Matters

Networking opportunities are plentiful as this will be a highly interactive meeting. Ketogenic food samples will be available throughout the meeting, together with low-carb lunches being served. Exhibition stands will provide demonstrations and information during breaks and a KetoCollege social dinner for all participants to join will be held on Tuesday 12 May at the conference venue.

If you wish to cancel your reservation we will refund your delegate fees minus 35GBP admin cost, up to 14 days prior to the start of the meeting. After that time we cannot offer any refunds.

You may transfer your registration to another name up to 3 days prior to the meeting. After that time we cannot offer reservation transfers.
